Big things are on the horizon for the Dripping Springs community! A brand-new, expansive sports and recreation facility—the Dripping Springs Sports Club (DSSC)—is set to open in 2027, bringing over 200,000 square feet of fitness, family entertainment, and sports amenities right to the heart of the Sunset Canyon and Headwaters neighborhoods.
What to Expect
Designed as a multi-purpose destination, DSSC will offer something for everyone—from athletes to families simply looking for a fun, healthy place to spend time together. Here’s a closer look at what’s in store:

Currently in the pre-development phase, the project is moving forward with a targeted opening in mid-2027.
Meet the Team Behind the Vision
This ambitious project is being led by a team deeply rooted in youth sports and community development:
Rose, an experienced youth sports coach and President of Dripping Springs Youth Sports Association Volleyball.
Ashley Rose, founder of the Dripping Springs chapter of Kardivas, a character-building club for fifth-grade girls.
Luke Axtell, former collegiate and professional basketball player, will lead the club’s basketball programming.
Denver Lee, co-founder and director of Austin Performance Volleyball.
Chris Lupton, founder of Hill Country Indoor, serving as an advisor.
